Chill out in the sun!
There’s no shortage of wonderful outdoor spots to sample in the Magic City all the way from rooftop bars with impressive views of the city to lush outdoor gardens in which to bask in the beautiful tropical flora. Pero like we also like to add some spice and variety to our weekend (and weekday) outings by switching things up with a chill patio or two. Luckily for us, there’s plenty of those in the 305 too — Check them out!
1. Cervecería La Tropical, Wynwood
Mother nature is cranking up the heat in the Magic City already, but Cervecería La Tropical has the perfect solution for combating the hot summer weather — pints on pints of cerveza!
This super chill tropical garden in Wynwood is home to Cuba’s oldest brewery (also Miami’s youngest) and has plenty of breezy outdoor seating in which to enjoy its four kinds of tropical-inspired beer along with some scrumptious bites like ea salt tostones, tequeños, empanadas and croquetas.

2. Pilo’s Tacos, Wynwood
Miami’s one and only tequila garden could not be left out of this roundup! At 5,500 square feet, Pilo’s Tacos’ colorful new outpost combines the restaurant’s authentic, fast-casual Mexican concept with an original and creatively decorated dining space. Its outdoor tequila garden functions as a day-to-night restaurant and bar as well as a nighttime venue. Not to mention it also features a treehouse DJ booth, stadium seating VIP booths, a retractable roof, and two bars in which you can taste test Pilo’s extensive tequila menu.

3. Casa Florida, Little Havana
Cute, retro, and easily Instagrammable, Casa Florida offers the perfect combination of tropical and vintage vibes with a touch of pink which makes it one of the cutest patios in the whole of the 305. Plus there are enough outdoor settings to fit your every mood.
Outfitted with a repurposed container-turned mixology bar and DJ booth, the deck is the perfect stylish and breezy spot in which to enjoy some carefully crafted cocktails with friends. Meanwhile, the playground’s custom-made ping pong table, two Bocce courts, and 1969 GM bus cocktail lounge make for a totally fun and playful environment in which to enjoy brunch or some light bites at Golden Hour. What else could we ask for?!

4. The Oasis, Wynwood
The latest addition to the Wynwood scene, The Oasis offers both partying and dining in equal measure. Perfect for a relaxed and casual outing, the dazzling courtyard features six new restaurants housed in colorful containers and plenty of outdoor seating and fans to keep you cool during the hot Miami nights. Meanwhile, its impressive outdoor stage and funky Tower Bar also make The Oasis the perfect spot in which to live it up with friends on a Saturday night.

5. Gramps, Wynwood
Come for the cocktails, stay for the pizza and awesome vibes! This trendy hangout in Wynwood is one of the best spots in town to grab cocktails, plus there’s always something going on in its lively outdoor patio, all the way from bands to comics!

6. Broken Shaker, South Beach
This backyard oasis doubles as a herb garden, breezy outdoor patio, swimming pool, bocce ball court, and ping pong hall — a five-in-one for the perfect night out. Oh and add incredible cocktails to the list too, because, just like Gramps, Broken Shaker is known to have some of the best cocktails in town!

7. Salt Café, Miami Beach
Go on and enjoy the salt life at Salt Café in Miami Beach. This cute spot inside Beach Plaza Hotel is home to an adorable and intimate garden, perfect for cozying up and enjoying some top noshes like their award-winning Salt Speciality Burger or Lobster Rolls. Plus, the bar also has a totally awesome tiki bar for you to grab cocktails at!

8. Lagniappe, Edgewater
This Edgewater wine bar was made for outdoor drinking. This lively spot is quite popular and you’ll always find it buzzing with people drinking a glass or two of wine. Lagniappe also offers great jazz on a weekly rotation and pretty twinkling lights. A great spot if you’re looking for something a bit more upbeat and full of people.

9. Mayami Mexicantina, Wynwood
The 10,000-squared-foot Wynwood local comes with Mayan-inspired architecture and décor that give us major Tulum vibes all the way from its fancy cocktails to the glowing red lights and party atmosphere, which are perfect for a fun yet safe and socially distant night out.
10. Grails, Wynwood
One of Miami’s best sports bars, Grails big, backyard patio is perfect for catching a game or two while enjoying some beers (or cocktails), and great bar food like guacamole, burgers, and wings!

11. Riverside Miami, Brickell
This waterfront yard in Brickell may be the breeziest spot on our list. Located just by the Miami River, Riverside Miami offers a lawn, lounge and taproom for you to make the most of your evening al fresco!

12. NOA Café, Edgewater
This woman-owned patio in Edgewater is covered head to toe with the word “LOVE” in a vibrant red and it is giving us the loveliest vibes! The wall art, created by Miami-based artist Renda Writer, covers all of NOA’s outdoor areas giving the place a whimsical and fun touch, making it the perfect spot to enjoy a cozy and intimate meal. 13. Heartland, Little Haiti
Located in the heart of Little Haiti, this cute outdoor space features twinkling lights, live music, incredible drinks and equally great food. A vibey and chill patio, Heartland is the perfect spot to relax with friends on a Saturday evening as you catch up over a glass of wine.
Note: Heartland Miami is currently closed due to hurricane season. It opens again in October.

14. Bakan, Wynwood
If you enjoy Mexican food and are looking for a more refined dining experience we suggest trying Bakan. This pretty Mexican spot in Wynwood features an elevated outdoor sitting area decorated with plenty of cacti, inverted wood pyramid canopies, and illuminated brown and green hanging basket fixtures that will make you feel like you’ve been transported straight to a luxurious Tulum resort.

15. Macchialina, Miami Beach
Technically not a bar but still totally worth checking out if you’re looking for something a bit more romantic. Affectionately nicknamed “il giardino” by the owners, Macchialina’s outdoor patio offers the perfect, intimate spot in which to enjoy its freshly-made pasta with a velvety glass of Italian wine while surrounded by beautiful greenery and twinkling lights.
