Before you know it, October will be here and although the scorching heat and swaying palm trees may not exactly resemble the fall, there are still tons of seasonal events to partake in and that includes picking out the perfect pumpkins!
We’ve gathered a list of 9 places to go pumpkin picking near Miami this fall and the best part is that they’re all fun for the whole family! See them below.
1. Tinez Farms
Head to this annual fall festival and pumpkin patch to search for your perfect pumpkin and check out their animal barnyard, zipline, bounce house, wooden play structures, flower slide and endless photo ops. It’s $12 for children and $15 for adults, and tickets can be found on their website.
When: On weekends from September 11-November 27, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

2. The Berry Farms
This farm in the Redlands promises homegrown pumpkins at this year’s Harvest Festival. Preparations are currently underway, but you can expect their classic pumpkin patch, giant corn maze, hayrides, sunflower field for your perfect fall photos and more.
When: September 23-November 13, Mon-Thurs: 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m./Fri-Sun: 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.

3. Pinto’s Farm
Take a fun paddleboat ride through this scenic farm and scavenge the patch for the best pumpkin to carve. Then, walk around and meet the animals on site, take Instagram worthy pics with their festive photo ops, ride a tractor and more!

4. The Little Farm Fall Festival
The Little Farm is currently hard at work preparing the family farm for fall. Stay tuned for what’s in store, but you can look forward to picking your favorite pumpkin at their patch, a petting farm, hay maze, butterfly garden, photo ops and harvest decor, all with $12 admission.

5. By Brothers Pumpkin Town
A beloved spot for Cuban cuisine by fishing ponds and pony rides, By Brothers also offers pumpkin picking with photo spots, train rides, a corn pit, petting zoo, seasonal activities and theatrical shows.

6. Carousel Club’s Carousel of Pumpkins
Spin your way down to the Carousel Club and take photos by their pumpkin patch, sip on some fall-themed cocktails and of course pick up a pumpkin for yourself! What’s more delightful than that? This tented outdoor spot with a unique carousel bar right in the center is known for good eats, feel-good music, and happy hour specials (5 beers for $15). Oh, and you have the perfect view of the horse racetrack.
When: October 7-31, venue open until 3 a.m.

7. Hope Miami Lakes United Methodist Church
This year marks the 24th year of this church’s annual pumpkin patch and they’ll have beautiful pumpkins of all sizes, delicious baked goods, weekend performances, shaved ice and digital photography for sale. General admission is $5 on Monday-Thursday, $7 on Friday-Sunday and $10 on Halloween. The admission price includes a $2 pumpkin buck toward a pumpkin of your choice.

8. Flamingo Road Nursery
From the end of September to the 1st week of November, Flamingo Road Nursery celebrates fall in the tropics by giving their 10 acre garden a total makeover, featuring a “Biggest and Best” pumpkin patch, antique tractor-pulled hayrides, harvest market, and more!
When: Starting September 23, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

9. Boca Raton Festival
Pumpkin picking will be available at the Mizner Park Amphitheater this year — and there’s 2,500 of them to choose from! The annual festival will also include carnival rides, an inflatable cornstalk maze, dress-your-own scarecrow activities, tons of Instagram-worthy photo vignettes and more. The entrance fee is $25, and pumpkins on site range from $1 to $15. You can also decorate your pumpkin right there!

10. Pumpkin Towne
Pumpkin season arrives to Pumpkin Towne throughout South Florida (in Wellington, Jupiter and Stuart if you’re up for a day trip) where you can pick out your very own pumpkins and bask in the festive atmosphere. Although there are no hayrides or a corn maze, there’s still plenty of playgrounds and hay bale piles for kids, pumpkin carving and photo ops.
