Before you know it, October will be here and although the scorching heat and swaying palm trees may not exactly resemble the fall, there are still tons of seasonal events to partake in. One of our favorites is pumpkin picking and be it for the perfect Instagram picture or getting your carve on, you’ll want to head to your local pumpkin patch. That’s why we gathered a list of places to go pumpkin picking this fall — and the best part is that they’re all fun for the whole family! See them below.
1. Tinez Farms
Join in on pumpkin picking at Tinez Farms’ annual pumpkin patch and don’t forget to add their animal barnyard, zipline, bounce house, tubing slide, cow barrel train and endless photo ops to your day plans!

2. The Berry Farms
This incredible farm in the Redlands promises homegrown pumpkins at this year’s Harvest Festival. Of course, you can expect their classic pumpkin patch, giant corn maze, hayrides, sunflower field for your perfect fall photos and much more.

3. Pinto’s Farm
Take a fun paddleboat ride through Pinto’s Farm and scavenge the patch for pumpkins galore! Then, walk around and meet the animals on site, take Instagram worthy pics with their festive photo ops, ride a tractor and more. Your furry friends can join in on the fun, too, as they’ll have their pup-friendly weekend on Sept. 21 and 22!

4. Hope Miami Lakes United Methodist Church
Miami Lakes’ favorite pumpkin patch makes its big return this year and they’ll have beautiful pumpkins of all sizes, delicious baked goods, weekend performances, face paintings, balloons and digital photography for sale. This is the church’s major fundraising event of the year.

5. Flamingo Road Nursery
From the end of September to the first week of November, Flamingo Road Nursery celebrates fall in the tropics by giving their 10-acre garden a total makeover, featuring a “Biggest and Best” pumpkin patch, antique tractor-pulled hayrides, harvest market and more! There’s also a new theme every week, such as Pepper Palooza, Tomato Fest and Tropical Fruit Celebration.

6. Boca Pumpkin Patch Festival
Held at the Mizner Park Amphitheater, choose from a range of pumpkins in every size, color, pattern and shape you can imagine at the Boca Raton Pumpkin Patch Festival! The two-day, annual event will also include carnival rides, an inflatable cornstalk maze, dress-your-own scarecrow activities, tons of Instagram-worthy photo vignettes and more. You can also decorate your pumpkin right then and there!

7. Mr. Jack O’ Lantern’s Pumpkins
Mr. Jack O’ Lantern’s in West Palm Beach is a one-stop-shop for all things Halloween — and pumpkins. This destination is full to the brim with a large variety of premium pumpkins, a decoration shop, farm animals viewing and tons of other fun, family-friendly activities. The patch also offers online ordering and delivery for pumpkins.

8. Pumpkin Towne
Pumpkin season arrives to Pumpkin Towne throughout South Florida (in Wellington, Jupiter and Stuart if you’re up for a day trip) where you can pick out your very own pumpkins and bask in the festive atmosphere. Although there isn’t a corn maze, there’s still plenty of playgrounds and hay bale piles for kids, pumpkin carving and photo ops.
