This year, Cinco de Mayo falls on a Wednesday, pero there’s still plenty of events and promotions going on around the 305 in honor of this fun feast. Not to mention, it also gives us the perfect excuse to down a couple of margaritas in the middle of the week — and who doesn’t like mid-week margs?!
33. Enjoy a magical candlelit concert in enchanting Miami settings
You can still experience an absolutely magical (and safe) spring here in Miami, and part of that is thanks to the amazing outdoor spaces the city has to offer. Luckily, Fever Originals is bringing its wildly popular Candlelight concert series to a beautiful open-air venue for the season
34. Wine Down with this Memorial Day pop up at the Venezia Hotel

Part of Pharrell Williams and David Grutman’s newly unveiled Goodtime Hotel, Strawberry Moon hottest new restaurant and poolside bar. According to its creators, the restaurant “captures a unique Miami cross-section of the happy, the hedonistic and the healthy,” and honestly we couldn’t agree more — It’s gorgeous Deco pinks, lagoon blues, and palm greens give us all the Happy and tropical vibes.

La Industria Bakery & Café specializes in over-the-top, Instagram-worthy pancakes and waffles that literally look too incredible to miss out on — I mean at least go take a picture of somebody else’s plate if you manage not to steal a bite that is!
48. Attend this dazzling Van Gogh Immersive Experience opening this month in Miami
Artwork from the iconic post-impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh will come to life in a 360-degree digital spectacle that’ll illuminate and transform the physical space into a fully immersive exhibit. We were treated to a supermoon on April 26, but we’ll see a second supermoon on May 26. It will appear blood-red in the sky as it’s obscured by the Earth’s shadow.
According to TimeAndDate.com, this event will be visible in the skies above Miami between 4:47 a.m. and 6:33 a.m., with maximum visibility at 6:31 a.m.
