Miami Dates

We’ve put together a list of things to do around Miami that make for totally awesome dates!

Valentine’s Day is around the corner so we thought we’d come up with a list of some fun date ideas that are totally unique to Miami!

1. Watch the Sunset at one of Miami’s many stunning rooftop bars

Miami is king to the picturesque sunset. One of the romantic things nature does right for us. So, why not get the best seats in the house to witness this high up in the sky? Maybe even sip your favorite cocktails with your significant other while you’re at it. From the famous Sugar, where Bali-based garden that looks over Biscayne Bay comes alive as the sun descends past the horizon; to the dreamy views of Juvia where the French cuisine compliment the penthouse charm. Miami’s rooftops have all you need. And, they’re growing. Just this month, the first skyline bar opened in the Cuban district. Check out Terras, from Life House Hotels, in Little Havana for cocktails blended with tropical herbs and spices.

2. Break away from city living and head into nature

Take a break from the Miami hustle and bustle and go out on a nature-themed date! There are some beautiful green spots around the city in which to experience Florida’s wild nature. So why not head into the Miami Beach Botanical Garden or Pinecrest Gardens for a romantic stroll? Or go kayaking Oleta River State Park and catch a glimpse of Miami wildlife!

3. Go on a Wynwood art crawl

Conceived by Tony Goldman back in 2009 to transform the warehouse district of Wynwood, the beautiful murals have made Wynwood one of the hottest spots in the city. Full of boutiques and dining options, you can spend the day exploring the area and looking at the more than 70,000 square feet of street art. And while you’re at it, don’t forget to get some awesome Instagrammable shots!

4. Sip on Avocado Wine

There’s nothing more romantic than wine and a good conversation. So why not spend the afternoon tasting exotic, avocado wine at Schnebly’s Winery? For $12.95 per person, you and your bae will spend the afternoon trying some out-of-this-world wines while enjoying some killer views. Once you’re done, you can take as many bottles of AvoVino as you can manage to continue the tasting at home! Or if dinner dates are more your thing, make sure to sign up for their special Valentine’s Day meal.

5. Pick strawberries and munch on cinnamon rolls at Knaus Berry Farm

If you guys are looking to go on an out-of-the-box date then we suggest heading over to Knaus Berry Farm and get your berry picking on. Spending a lovely afternoon at the farm picking up strawberries (or tomatoes) together will make for a totally fun and relaxed date. Once you’re done, grab some delicious milkshakes and some of Knaus’ world-famous cinnamon rolls to reward yourselves for all your hard work!
