4. Cape Florida Lighthouse, Key Biscayne

As one of Florida’s oldest lighthouses, and the oldest structure in Miami-Dade County, this is a standing time capsule with tons of history. In order to get inside, you’ll have to join one of their tours on Thursday through Monday, 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., and walk up the 109 steps to the top.
