With so many excellent dining options around the city choosing the perfect one for a magical date can be very hard. But you need not fret! We’ve done all the hard work so you don’t have to!
Besides being outdoor dining friendly, these spots have health and safety measures in place to ensure you have a wonderful and safe night out.
1. La Mar, Brickell
At La Mar you’ll be able to enjoy Peruvian cuisine in all its glory, from the most local novo-Andean dishes to the latest Asian-Peruvian fusion ones, inspired by the country’s Japanese heritage. Indulge in their excellent ceviche dishes–we suggest trying their Cebiche sampler for $29 that includes cebiche Clasico, Carretillero and Pulpo Olivo–while you sip on some pisco sours, an unmissable Peruvian aperitif. Or if you’re feeling especially peckish, we suggest ordering their “La Mar experience,” a tasting menu featuring all the Chef’s signature selections for $85.
The top-notch Peruvian cuisine comes with a side of beautiful Miami skyline views, the perfect backdrop for the perfect date. Believe us when we say that at La Mar you won’t mind your date going south…south of the border that is!!

2. Mandolin Aegean Bistro, Design District
Travel to the Aegean coast at this small, 1940s house turned restaurant serving delectable Greek-Turkish food. At Mandolin Aegean you’ll be able to enjoy authentic Mediterranean cuisine in a candlelit taverna setting, making it the perfect spot for an intimate yet relaxed dinner date.
Its meze-style dishes are easy to share and will give you and your date the opportunity to bond over some of the best Greek food in town. Enjoy their Greek or Turkish platter ($16), their moussaka ($22) or even their beef souvlaki ($32), for a dining experience that’s bound to take you straight back to the Aegean without leaving your seats.

3. Elcielo, Downtown
If you’re looking to take BAE on a unique dinner date then Elcielo is the best place to go. Chef Juan Manuel Barriento’s innovative cuisine is inspired by his Colombian roots and molecular gastronomy featuring exciting plates with bold flavors.
Whether you choose their 6-course menu ($118) or their 13-course one ($148), we suggest going with an empty belly and an open mind and let yourself be guided by your waiter for an exciting and surprising dining experience. An additional wine tasting experience is also available for $57 for glasses or $98 for 6 glasses.

4. Kiki on the River, Downtown
Cozy up with your date in one of Kiki on the River’s plush booths and enjoy some of the finest Greek food in the city while basking in the warmth of the beautiful Miami sunsets. Indulge yourselves with fresh watermelon and feta salad ($16) and grilled octopus ($24) or share one of their large platters for a relaxed yet upscale dinner.
If you’re not especially hungry we suggest trying some of their Golden Hour bites like their Kiki Eggplant Chips with Tzatziki ($9). Splurge on romance at this Greek oasis by the river and don’t forget to photograph the beautiful golden-hour views of the city!

5. Soya e Pomodoro, Downtown
What screams romance more than excellent Italian food and live music? At Soya e Pomodoro you can get the best of both for a traditional yet totally romantic dinner date. Plus it’s run by two native Italian expert restaurateurs, so you know you’re in for the real deal. We suggest trying their “Fazzoletti di Formaggio e Pera” ($18), pear and cheese stuffed pasta sauteed with baby shrimp in a delicious ricotta sauce!

6. Amara at Paraiso, Edgewater
For the quintessential Miami waterfront dining experience head over to Amara at Paraiso. At Amara, you’ll be able to experience South Florida’s diverse food culture with some of the best Latin American dishes made with coastal ingredients. Indulge in Amara’s beautiful views of the Miami coastline while enjoying some hearty Latin dishes for a night you won’t forget!

7. Cecconi’s, Miami beach
Cecconi’s cozy, fairy-like courtyard is the perfect setting for an intimate, uber-romantic date. At this world-class eatery, you’ll be able to enjoy some of the best home-made pasta and seafood in town cooked in the Venetian style. We suggest trying their Maine lobster spaghetti ($44) but if you’re not feeling the pasta vibe their veal chop Milanese ($58) is just as incredible!

8. Gianni’s at The Villa, Miami Beach
Housed at the former Versace Mansion, Gianni’s at Villa Casa Casuarina is the perfect spot for a stylish and history-filled dinner. Enjoy delectable Italian food and wine at their pool-side patio for dinner under the stars and get a chance to relive Casa Casuarina’s former glory. Our suggestion? Try their whole branzino ($39) paired with their Versace Nero D’Avola red wine. The only caveat with Gianni’s is that it’s pretty popular so make sure to book your table ahead of time!

9. Matador Room, Miami Beach
For a glamourous, old-school dinner date head on over to the Matador Room. Inspired by its 1950s glam atmosphere, chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten reinvented the famous room with a menu featuring Caribbean, Spanish and Latin American dishes with a twist. Enjoy an upscale dinner while sipping on one of Matador Room’s creative cocktails, like their coconuty cocktail The Castaway ($19) and live your best Mad Men life!
