Magic City Flea Night Market at Zoko Collective
Zoko Collective is teaming up with Magic City Flea for a one-night market this Friday packed with local vendors. It’s the place to browse thrifted fashion, handmade goods and vintage finds alongside Spanish-inspired tapas, artisan pies from FRA Pizza, and music-inspired cocktails from Lovecat. Plus, a specialty drink will be created exclusively for the evening.
Cortadito and Friends bring Asere Social Club to the Colony Theater
On September 12th, Grammy-nominated musician José Elías has produced a multimedia tribute to Afro-Cuban culture on Lincoln Road. The show brings together heavy hitters Cortadito and Irawo Osa, blending acoustic Cuban son with Yoruba-derived traditions.
They share the stage with a stacked lineup including percussionist Brenda Navarrete, DJ Le Spam, rapper El B, dancers and poets. It’s an interactive exploration of rhythm and memory, tracing the roots of West African traditions through contemporary Cuban music. If you want to get moving early, there are master classes in percussion and dance also running throughout the day.
This weekend, check out Giralda in Bloom by Impact Plan — a free public art installation featuring hundreds of floral-patterned umbrellas suspended above Giralda Plaza. It’s currently on view through October and located on the 100 block of Giralda Avenue in Coral Gables.
Prepare to be amazed at Paradox Museum Miami, the ultimate mind-twisting experience for all ages. There’s more than 70 exhibits to discover, like immersing yourself in a tunnel that spins around you, posing on an iconic South Beach lifeguard tower — upside down — and even defying gravity in a room straight out of a sci-fi movie!
And this Friday, don’t miss Paint and Paradox, a guided painting night among the illusions on September 4.
Savor delicious cuisine at the Taste of the Caribbean Festival
This September 13th, add a delicious stop to your weekend plans with Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s upcoming Taste of the Caribbean Festival. Featuring authentic flavors from Cuba, Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Belize, this one-day event will offer the perfect blend of culinary exploration and family-friendly activities like live music, limbo games, fruit sack races and more.
If you’re looking for a delicious weekend plan (and plenty more chances to go back), Miami Spice runs through September 30, featuring three-course prix-fixe menus from over 300 participating restaurants. Prices start at $40 for lunch/brunch, dinner options at $50 or $65, and a new Reserve tier from $95.
Have a country-inspired evening at Fairchild with Boots & Blooms
On Saturday, September 12, Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden is transforming into a lantern-lit country party after dark. The Back Country Boys will bring the live music, and Country Heart Dance Company leads the crowd in line dancing on the lawn. There’s plenty to keep you fueled, including food trucks, bourbon and moonshine tastings, in addition to an apple pie eating contest and competition for the best western wear. So be sure to bring your best boots!
This iconic National Historic Landmark served as Miami’s first skyscraper, the headquarters of its first newspaper and the legendary ‘El Refugio’ for Cuban exiles. Given its storied past, it’s the perfect spot to spend an afternoon wandering through exhibits that pulse with the city’s rich history.
Three permanent exhibitions anchor the experience: Libertad traces the building’s legacy and tells the story of those who found refuge and built new lives in Miami; Languages of Migration explores global journeys through rare maps, books and more; and Unidad: The World’s Game offers a FIFA Museum-curated look at soccer’s unifying power. Each gallery is thoughtfully designed to reflect the building’s evolution from a center of information to a living archive of Miami’s diverse communities.

Stella Artois Shuffleboard Showdown
Let the games begin! Stella Artois has partnered with Breakwater Hospitality Group for a shuffleboard showdown on the water this weekend. Anyone 21 and over can compete for the massive grand prize: a four-day, three-night trip to Belgium this December for two, covering flights, food and a five-star hotel.
