We all know that living in the Magic City has its perks, with clear-blue skies, tropical weather all year and scenic beaches. But when the fall months roll around, leaves don’t change color and the breeze doesn’t get as chilly as other cities. Luckily, we’re getting a taste of authentic Autumn magic this October through an immersive pop-up known as Hay Maze Miami.
It’s never too early to start planning your visit with friends and family and your Fall-inspired outfits because the whopping 7,000-square-foot maze is set to open from October 21 until November 6 in Bayfront Park. From scarecrows to pumpkins, the maze will be filled with endless surprises that capture the ultimate fall essence, as well as photo-worthy opportunities to give your feed a total fall makeover. Located right in the center, the leaf pit is the signature spot to snap all your pics!
For those 21 and over, there will also be an all-encompassing Beer Garden in which you’ll be able to sample brews, rum and whiskeys. Stella Artois is bringing The Stella Frites Van to the field, along with dishes from Chef Roy Choi’s exclusive collaboration, the Frites Artois. For the rum connoisseurs out there, Bacardi Ocho, Havana Club, Santa Teresa and Pyrat Rum are coming forward with the Bacardi Rum Room. Inside, rum sampling will be available along with a cigar-rolling experience.
To fuel up during your time at the maze, there will be signature fall dishes sold by local vendors. I mean, what’s a fall pop-up without pumpkin spice everything? And for those looking for interesting Halloween plans, beware! The maze will take a spooky turn once the holiday weekend arrives. As you make your way through the twists and turns, it’s safe to say you’ll be met with some scares while collecting tricks and treats. Just beware of what may be lurking around the corner!
Can’t make it on Halloween night? Other fun programming concepts will be scattered all season long, from live music and football game nights to fitness and wellness activities.
Hay Maze Miami will make its debut in Bayfront Park on Friday, October 21, and will stick around until Sunday, November 6. They will be open from 4-10 p.m. on weekdays and 12-10 p.m. on weekends. Tickets are already on sale and can be found on their website here.
