We hope you remember where you stashed away your favorite winter jacket because temperatures are finally dropping! A cold front is bringing cooler and drier air to South Florida, reaching all the way to Miami, and it’s beginning today.
That’s right! Cold weather (by our standards, anyways) has arrived. While Miami and Broward will see plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the 70s during the day, things will dip into the 50s tonight, according to the National Weather Service:
The coolest temperatures we’ll see will be on Friday morning, which will have widespread morning lows in the lower to mid-50s and a high in the mid-70s. In fact, it actually hasn’t been this chilly since last February!
This cold front will stick around for a bit, bringing the coolest day temps to Saturday, as highs will stay in the low 70s.
Starting Sunday, however, things should get a little warmer into the upper 70s. And by next week, things should be back up to the 80s during the day. This is Florida, after all.
