Temperatures may be on the warmer side right now, but grab a cafecito and a coat because a cold front is set to push through Tuesday night. Expect temperatures to drop in the mid- to upper-50s, bringing a chilly start for Valentine’s Day on Wednesday.
So are we seriously getting a taste of cold weather — by our standards anyways? Yes, but not for long. Looking ahead, Wednesday may have morning lows in the upper 50s, but it will be on the warmer side with highs in the 70s. For the rest of the week, highs are forecast to be in the upper 70s and 80s, with lows will be in the 60s.
As for rain, forecasters say rain chances will rise this weekend, with Sunday at a 65% chance. It looks like there will be more lingering rain by President’s Day on Monday and that it will cool down once again with highs in the mid- to low-70s.
