Wynwood Pride is returning on Friday, June 18, with an epic weekend of neighborhood-wide celebrations!
After going virtual last year due to the pandemic, Wynwood Pride is returning to Miami for its third season on Friday, June 18. The weekend-long celebration will feature an expansive neighborhood-wide plan that puts a spotlight on Wynwood businesses.
This year’s event will be in benefit of three local organizations — the YES Institute, Planned Parenthood of South, East and North Florida, and Equality Florida — which are making strides in the field of Youth, Health and Justice.
The festivities will kick off on Friday, June 18, at Wynwood’s The Oasis with a star-studded lineup of performers. PRIDE will take over this dazzling new space from 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. with a fabulous show featuring performances by Pop icon Charli XCX, RuPaul’s Drag Race superstar Kandy Muse, Miami and Chicago drag legend Miss Toto, amazing DJs, local drag favorites, celebrity hosts and more!
The celebration keeps on going at the Oasis on Saturday, June 19, with a full day of back-to-back drag shows, amazing DJ sets, musical performances, special guest appearances, celebrity hosts among many other fabulous happenings! International DJ sensation Honey Dijon and Chicago house icon & pioneer Derrick Carter will be bringing an epic day to a close with an unmissable performance. Events will kick off at 12 p.m. and will go on through to 3 a.m.
Starting off at 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 20, Wynwood Pride will come to a close with the launch of GLORIA! a new daytime disco at the new FREEHOLD Miami. The festivities will be headlined by NYC staple Eli Escobar alongside Miami’s Vakdevi, and Miguel Clark and will go on until 10 p.m.!
Tons of restaurants, bars, shops, and galleries, including Coyo Taco, Wynwood Walls and Freehold, have already teamed up with Wynwood pride to welcome the LGBTQI+ community and its allies back to Wynwood this year for a new and unique Pride experience.
Those who wish to attend all events will have to RSVP on Wynwood Pride’s website!
