During the holidays, Miami is home to glittering light displays, Christmas markets and everything else you’d need to make this the most magical time of year. But clearly, there’s one thing missing: snow. Sure, there was that ONE time snow fell in South Florida, but that was way back in 1977. In present day, there are plenty of holiday events and attractions where you can get the full winter experience, thanks to artificial or manmade snow. The forecast calls for a 100% chance of “snow” at the following locations across Miami:
1. Snow Carnival
If you’d like to see real snow in Miami this holiday — yes, the real deal — head to Snow Carnival! This one-of-a-kind attraction boasts an incredible 350 tons of real snow, sparkling lights and snowflakes galore at Aventura Mall. 2. NightGarden
This seasonal favorite has returned to light up the enchanting Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden. While guests of all ages can check out the illuminated trails, play around with holograms and embark on a fairy quest, this year’s event also features magical “snowfall,” which falls periodically!

3. Lincoln Road
Miami’s most iconic street is being transformed into a snowy tropical wonderland with quite the fun experience at the Euclid Oval. Beginning on the hour for 20 minutes, from 6 to 9 p.m. on weekends, visitors can experience a joyous holiday display as artificial snowflakes descend from overhead.

4. Dolphin Mall
A holiday tradition, the shopping destination’s annual “Magical Snowfall” takes place outdoors in the Ramblas Plaza by Entry 3. Once the clock strikes 7, the nightly snowfall commences! And on Fridays through Sundays, there are additional snowfalls at 9 p.m.

5. The Falls
Of course you’d expect to see snow ‘fall’ from above at The Falls. Grab your friends and family to meet in the Center Court (by Regal) for the mall’s nightly “SnowFalls.” On Monday through Thursday, the fun begins at 7 p.m.; on Friday and Saturday, it’s 7 and 8 p.m.; and on Sunday, see the snow at 6 p.m.

6. Dadeland Mall
You’ll find yourself strolling through nearly 10 minutes of snowfall at Dadeland Mall every night. These snow shows take place every night, beginning at 7 p.m., set to the tune of holiday favorites! See it in the Fashion Wing of the mall near Tesla.

7. Dania Pointe
Dania Beach is bringing the flurries this holiday season with 10 minutes of snowfall at 7 and 8:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7 p.m. on Sundays. Then there’s The Snowman Experience, where you can watch as real snowmen come to life right before your eyes! It all takes place at The Lawn in Dania Pointe.
