There’s nothing quite as soothing as filling your home with a delightful aroma that transports you to a place or time you wish to go back to. And if you’re a massive donut and coffee lover like me, you can now bring the sweet smell of your favorite local shop with you!
The Salty, the Miami’s favorite donut + coffee shop that’s now become one of the most high demand desert shops nationwide, is turning to selling candles that smell like some of their most popular menu items. The new Salty Candle Collection is made up of three of the family-owned brand’s most beloved donut & coffee flavors: Traditional Glazed, Almond Mocha Fudge and the famous Cinnamon Cereal Milk Latte.
It’s like taking a piece of the delicious vibes of The Salty home with you! Not to mention, they also make for a unique gift for any occasion, as each candle comes with a designed to and from card to make for easy gifting.
“At The Salty, we aim to create meaningful connections with every guest and long-lasting impressions during life’s sweetest moments,” says Danny Pizarro, chief marketing officer at The Salty. “For years, we’ve heard guests tell us about the drool-worthy aromas in our stores as we make our donuts and baked goods throughout the day, so we dreamt up a way to help bring a sense of our kitchens to the homes of our biggest fans!”
The candles are hand-poured in small batches by Wash and Wik and made of natural soy wax and essential oils. They are vegan-friendly, paraffin wax free and contain a lead-free cotton wick; meaning they are natural and safe for humans and pets.
Originally starting as a pop-up in 2015 by Amanda and Andy Pizarro-Rodriguez, The Salty Donut has quickly grown with year-round flavors like maple + bacon, white chocolate tres leches and hazelnut + coffee, and well as rotating seasonal ones. They also offer coffees, which helps wash it all down.
The candles are sold at all The Salty locations as well as online for nationwide shipping. They can also be bought separately, each for $16, or in a bundle priced at $42 for all three.
