Rhythm Portal, a musical experience where the technology of sound merges with the soothing aspect of nature, officially returns to Miami for its second edition! Every Wednesday through December 21, Rhythm Portal brings you musical performances—each as unique as the next—in the luscious embrace of Little River’s Center for Subtropical Affairs.

Rhythm Portal is inspired by Argentine percussion group, “La Bomba de Tiempo”. The acclaimed band created by Santiago Vazquez performed at Buenos Aires’s Konex Center every Monday, constantly selling out for the last 15 years — and it’s their ‘rhythm with signs’ method that makes Rhythm Portal so special. Led by artistic director Andy Inchausti, 11 musicians from around the world come together on one stage to improvise. Rhythm Portal is an immersive experience transporting you to distant lands: a warm hug at the heart of the Center for Subtropical Affairs.
Don’t miss out on this multicultural series of performances!
The Center for Subtropical Affairs is an ecological learning center in Little River that provides jobs and career training in the field of sustainable development. The venue works with students to improve their knowledge on environmental education and health, bridging the gap between sustainability and cultural arts programming. And it’s the location’s beautiful outdoor botanical gardens that will host Rhythm Portal’s performances!
The experience takes place every Wednesday starting at 7:30pm. Every week, the show welcomes a special guest. For the opening night of Rhythm Portal’s second edition, it’s Le Coco Ramos that will grace the stage with “the essence of a true Latina, fuego Venezolana!”
