Schnebly Redland’s Winery is the perfect spot in which to unwine with a glass of tropical wine and soothing waterfalls.
Let’s be real, there’s nothing better than Miami and its buzzing city life but even so, we all feel like swapping the skyscrapers and busy streets for something a bit more relaxing from time to time. And what better spot is there than a hidden tropical garden that also doubles as a winery?
Located just 50 minutes away from Downtown Miami in Homestead, FL, this Schenbly’s gorgeous winery serves up some major tropical vibes. Full of luscious greenery, soothing natural coral waterfalls and plenty of sunny spots in which to chill out and relax with a glass of wine in hand, Schnebly’s idyllic location is just the perfect spot in which to escape city life for a day.
The Southernmost winery in the U.S., Schnebly specializes in exotic tropical fruit wines — We’re talking coconut, guava, passion fruit, mango… the whole shebang! They even have an avocado wine, because who can live without avocado everything in this day and age.
The winery offers a wide variety of wine tasting options so you can enjoy all its tropically flavored wines while taking in the scenic location. And, if you want to learn more about this stunning winery how it produces these super original wines, Schnebly also offers guests the chance to book a winery tour on which you’ll walk through the gorgeous estate, learn more about Schnebly’s family history and take a peek into the whole wine-making process.
If you don’t feel like touring the whole estate, don’t worry, you can always just sign up for a tasting, explore the compound by yourself or visit the winery’s restaurant, the Redlander.
This farm-to-table restaurant offers a variety of dishes such as avocado dippers, barbecue platters and grilled seafood that you can enjoy paired up with your tropical wine of choice. The Redlander is currently open for lunch, dinner and brunch from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday to Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and requires reservations, which can be made online on Schnebly’s website.
The best part is, that if you happen to find your new favorite tropical wine, you can also get some extra bottles to go from their shop and if you run out of them, well you can always restock by going to their online wine shop!
A waterfall in a tropical garden with a refreshing glass of vino sounds pretty much ideal right now if you ask me. So next time you’re feeling a bit agoraphobic and need a respite from the hectic Miami life, why don’t you pay Schnebly a visit?
