Miami Beach Pride is one of the largest Pride celebrations in the country and it’s only right to honor it on an epic scale. With this year being its 15th anniversary, Lincoln Road — Miami Beach’s most visited open-air destination — is transforming into a multi-colored spectacle all April long!
The visual campaign, entitled “Love on Lincoln”, is a collaboration between the Lincoln Road Business Improvement District (BID) and the Miami Beach Pride organization to show its support for the LGBTQIA+ community in a big way.
According to Lyle Stern, the Lincoln Road BID President, “Pride is a celebration of love and acceptance, and the BID is committed to creating a supportive environment that welcomes everyone.”
Several structures throughout the promenade will be wrapped in vibrant rainbow colors, such as the Shade structure on the 1000 block, The Triangle on the 500 block, Euclid Oval on the 600 block, and Square Arches on the 700 block.
Visitors are being encouraged to see it all for themselves and snap photos at one or all the locations to post on social media with the hashtag #LoveOnLincoln. All tagged photos will become a part of an epic collage that will be presented in June during International Pride Month.
In addition to the “Rainbow Road” transformation, several businesses along Lincoln Road have exciting programming underway, including discounts and special events. These include 15% off on purchases from March 31 to April 16 at Casper, a prideful happy hour at Nespresso on April 13th from 5 to 7 p.m., a pride makeup glow-up at MAC on April 15 & 16 and more.
Love on Lincoln will be on display throughout the month of April. For more information, visit the Lincoln Road website here. For Miami Beach Pride celebrations this year, check out our full round-up here!
