If you’ve ever wondered how to make Sunday Fundays better, you’d be thrilled to find out a local restaurant is bringing back its Barks and Bubbles Puppy Brunch this month!
After putting on a similar event last April, the exciting new brunch is coming up the day after National Dog Day, on Sunday, August 27, to raise awareness and help pups in need of forever homes. It will take place at Mareva 1939 at The National Hotel where there will be an on-site adoption for puppies and a Pet Vendor Bazaar full of toys and accessories.
Mareva 1939 is the hotel’s crown jewel, boasting a scrumptious array of Spanish bites and cocktails to cool down. The space is nestled in the back of the hotel lobby, lending itself as an elegant escape for foodies. Depending on where you sit, you’ll have the hotel’s famous 205-foot pool as your backdrop — the longest in South Beach.
During the Puppy Brunch, the restaurant will be offering its specialty a la carte brunch with a percentage of proceeds benefitting the Humane Society of Greater Miami. The cocktails are abundant, of course, with the adults-only brunch featuring $35 bottomless select cocktails!
If you currently have a best friend and aren’t looking for a new one to adopt, you can still bring them along! All animal lovers are included to give some much-needed love — and weekend brunch time — to their pets.
So dog owners and lovers, bring your pup or give a pup a fur-ever home at the Barks and Bubbles Puppy Brunch. It is taking place on Sunday, August 27, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The National Hotel is located at 1677 Collins Ave, Miami Beach, FL 33139. To reserve a table, head to Mareva 1939’s website here.
