Osteria Morini Miami Beach and its sister restaurant, New York City’s Michelin star-rated eatery Marea, are working hand in hand to deliver a two-day dinner takeover this month!
The collaboration is part of Casa MIA, an ongoing chef dinner series, for the weekend of May 12 and 13. As part of the takeover, they’re inviting diners in the city and beyond to experience outstanding signature cocktails by Marea’s expert mixologists and a special menu featuring the best of Marea’s signature dishes.
While Morini, the charming Altamarea Group restaurant tucked inside the Kimpton Hotel Palomar, brings a slice of Northern Italy to the heart of South Beach, Marea boasts some of the best pasta and seafood in NYC with their menu being the perfect blend of fresh catches and Italian classics.
You can expect bold and authentic flavors of Italy’s coast, fused with the cosmopolitan style and flair of NY, such as Caviar Sliders, Tonno (yellowfin tuna) and Astice (fresh lobster with soft burrata).
Pastas on the special menu include Marea’s famous Fusilli with red wine braised octopus and bone marrow, in addition to Gnocchetti with ruby red shrimp, chilies and rosemary oil.
And as for sips, the Royal Blush (Grey Goose, lime, mint morello cherry, franciacorta) and Shipwrecked (Bacardi Superior rum, ilegal joven mezcal strega, lime, coconut) cocktails will be offered.
Guests can continue to enrich their senses on Friday night with Morini After Dark, the restaurant’s global live music series featuring The French Horn Collective from 8 to 11 p.m.
Reservations can be made through the Morini website and through Dorsia. Members of Dorsia, a members-only platform with access to coveted reservations, will receive priority access to reservations, a welcome cocktail and a delectable muse-bouche.
