For the third straight year, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Grand Prix returns to the city on May 3-5, with several hundred thousand racing enthusiasts and partygoers expected to flock to Miami Gardens. It’s a chance to not only see the on-track action, but head over to the hottest parties, fan festivals, and more!

When is the Miami Grand Prix 2024?
On Friday and Saturday, drivers will practice and be qualifying on the track before the main race. Then the world’s top drivers and teams will go head to head on Sunday, May 5. The official race kicks off at 4 p.m. EST.
Where is the Miami Grand Prix taking place?
The race will be held at the Hard Rock Stadium, located at 347 Don Shula Dr Suite 102 in Miami Gardens. With this being the third consecutive year the race is held at the same location, this year’s track won’t be much different. All the action will take place at the Miami International Autodrome, a temporary street circuit surrounding the stadium, and is 3.363 miles (5.412 km) long and features 19 corners.
Where can I watch the Miami Grand Prix?
You’ll find plenty of spots to watch the race trackside, with eight grandstands promising incredible views, from the Turn 1 Grandstands to the oh-so-popular Beach Grandstands. If you won’t be at the event, you can still catch the best views by making a pit stop at a local watch party. We rounded up some of the best spots to catch the F1 race in the city here!
If you’d rather catch it on TV from the comfort of your couch, all qualifying sessions and races will be broadcast on ESPN. Live races will also be broadcast on ABC. Streaming via fuboTV will also be available.
What can I expect during the Grand Prix aside from the race?
“The King” Don Omar will officially kick off the weekend in style with a concert at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood. Other performances to expect during the race include Hard Rock Beach Club performers Steve Aoki, Kaskade, Ed Sheeran and John Summit. DJ and producer Kaytranada will close off the weekend.

What’s new for 2024?
Notably, Miami has been chosen for the first time as one of six venues to host a Sprint race this year, which means there’s more action you don’t want to miss. Held on Saturday, May 4, the Sprint is roughly one third of the distance of a Grand Prix. Also new this year is the F1 Academy, an innovative junior series created to find a future female F1 star.
