Sun’s out, buns out… right? There’s a nude cruise scheduled to sail from Miami next year and the good news is that you won’t need to pack too much into your bag!
Named the “Big Nude Boat,” this unique trip will take travelers on an 11-day voyage across the Caribbean, including the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and St. Lucia. Bare Necessities Tour & Travel, a company that has chartered clothing-option ships since 1990, is taking over the Norwegian Pearl from February 3 to 14, 2025.
The company is clear about its clothes-free experience being for naturists only.
“We’ve been working to break down the barriers against social nudity and make clothing-optional vacationing a viable and acceptable option for all,” Bare Necessities’s website reads. “Social nudity is not a sexual activity, and we strive to dispel the misconception that it is anything but natural and beautiful.”
The Rules
Don’t go packing your bags while leaving out your clothes just yet. There are certain rules to follow, such as wearing clothes when the ship is docked in port and during all meals inside dining rooms. A standard nudist etiquette, guests must use a towel or another article of clothing when bare-bottomed or in a thong.
Fondling or inappropriate touching is prohibited, along with lingerie and fetish wear. Photos and videos of others cannot be taken without prior consent, and there will be “No Photo Zones” signs posted around the pool and in dance venues.
According to their website, anyone who doesn’t comply with the decorum and etiquette rules will be dismissed from the cruise, without refunds or transportation from the port of dismissal.
Additional Information
Aboard the 2,300 passenger ship, you’ll find heaps of dining options, bars, lively nightspots, a casino, spa and more.
The Big Nude Boat will set sail from Miami on Feb. 3 and return on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. Pricing for the cruise begins at around $2,000 for double occupancy. For more information, click here.
