The queen has returned: After weeks of speculation, Beyoncé has officially confirmed that she is heading back out on the road in support of last year’s critically-acclaimed album Renaissance, and making a long-awaited stop in Miami.
Kicking off in May is the European leg of the superstar’s tour before landing in North America on July 8 with two nights at Toronto’s Rogers Centre. She will hit up the Magic City for one night at the 62,000-capacity Hard Rock Stadium on August 18.
Taking to Instagram to announce the news this morning, Beyoncé shared a post that simply read: “RENAISSANCEㅤ ㅤWORLD TOUR 2023,” with a suitably iconic photo of the artist atop of a silver horse; similar to the album cover.
Her website features a full list of tour dates. Ticket sales commence on Monday, February 6, with an exclusive presale for BeyHive members.
The Renaissance tour marks Beyoncé’s first major outings (and return to Miami) since her 2018 On The Run II shows with husband Jay-Z. The singer performed her first concert in four years in Dubai last month, but no material from Renaissance was performed, meaning she’s saving the real heat for the summer.
Renaissance was released on July 29, 2022, and marked Beyoncé’s fourth UK number one album. Following its release, Beyoncé was nominated for a 2023 BRIT Award for Best International Artist. She is also nominated for nine Grammy awards including Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
