The future is here and it’s bright. The first of its kind, innovative art space ARTECHOUSE uses the power of creativity, science and technology to create eye-opening experiences that leave you thinking about the world around you. And its latest exhibition, “Renewal 2121,” does just that. A sea of vibrant colors await you as you’re whisked away into an imagined future 100 years from now where nature fights to survive amongst an overdeveloped metropolis — a future that will arrive if humanity continues unchecked at its current pace.
Embark across a cyberpunk cityscape where you’ll experience the sights, sounds and sensations of an interactive market, bustling alleyways, busy datacenter and a daiko drum experience to find nature blooming in the most unexpected places.
Celebrating themes of renewal and rebirth, nature’s resiliency takes center stage in this utopian future. To bring the psychedelic “Renewal 2121” to life, the ARTECHOUSE Creative Team collaborated with interdisciplinary artists from around the globe including visual design by Yuya Takeda, mural by Dragon76 and scenery by Design Foundry. You can also catch music by Düsseldorf-based group Mario Hammer and the Lonely Robot featured throughout the exhibit.
Founded in 2015, ARTECHOUSE has become a pioneer in the field of experiential art, expanding the possibilities of art and how we experience it. From immersive art spaces to an extended reality (XR) mobile app, this is where curiosity-seekers of all ages go to experience creative innovation without limits.
It debuted in Miami in 2018, where it has become a premier destination in the city due to how it challenges the traditional museum model. Taking over 736 Collins Avenue, ARTECHOUSE Miami is centrally located in the city’s arts epicenter of South Beach.
