You’ll be amazed to find out that you don’t need a time machine to travel to the year 2121 when you step inside ARTECHOUSE’s “Renewal 2121.” Combining both art and technology, this limited-time exhibit whisks you away to a maze of rooms lit up by stunning kaleidoscopic installations that you can step into and onto.
“Renewal 2121” was originally slated to run until October 16, but it has now been extended until November 6!
Not only does it provide a mind-boggling visual experience — it actually takes you inside the depths of an envisioned world where nature survives in an overdeveloped and technology-focused metropolis.
Despite getting the best social media-worthy photo ops as you roam around the neon-lit cityscape, you’ll experience the sights, sounds and sensations of an interactive market, bustling alleyways, busy datacenter and daiko drums to find nature blooming in the most unexpected of places.
To bring the multi sensory exhibit to life, ARTECHOUSE’s Creative Team worked with interdisciplinary artists from around the globe including visual design by Yuya Takeda, mural by Dragon76 and scenery by Design Foundry. If that wasn’t enough, visuals and sound come together as music by Düsseldorf-based group Mario Hammer and the Lonely Robot plays throughout.
