There’s no show quite like a Broadway show and, luckily for us, we don’t have to travel all the way to NYC to see one. The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and Broadway Across America are bringing exciting new arrivals to the city, from South Florida premieres to the return of blockbuster musicals. In fact, this milestone season marks 20 years of bringing the magic of Broadway to the city!
Since there are always so many things to do in Miami all the time, and shows are constantly coming and going, it’s hard to keep track of what’s currently on. To make things a little easier, we’ve compiled a list of productions to look forward to! Check them out:
MJ The Musical
As you can expect, this multi-Tony Award-winning musical follows the life of one of the greatest entertainers of all time: Michael Jackson. More specifically, the making of his 1992 Dangerous World Tour, offering a rare look at the creative mind and collaborative spirit that catapulted him into legendary status.
When: March 18 –23, 2025
Beetlejuice
Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice! Well, it looks like Miami has summoned him to the Arsht Center stage. Based on Tim Burton’s 1988 film, Beetlejuice tells the story of Lydia Deetz, a strange and unusual teenager whose whole life changes when she meets a recently deceased couple and a demon with a thing for stripes. It’s a remarkably touching show about family, love and making the most of every Day-O!
When: April 29 – May 4, 2025
Chicago
Being Broadway’s longest-running musical, this production tells the story of two notorious murderesses in the Roaring Twenties — vaudeville star Velma Kelly and chorus girl Roxie Hart — who become fierce rivals as they compete for headlines amidst a media frenzy. Chicago has been razzle dazzling audiences for 27 years with more than 10,000 performances, six Tony Awards, two Olivier Awards and a Grammy!
When: June 17 –22, 2025
The Wiz
Click your heels and make your way down the yellow brick road for the South Florida premiere of this iconic twist on The Wizard of Oz! A reincarnation of the Tony Award-winning production that took the world by storm, The Wiz will feature an iconic score packed with pop, soul, gospel, 70s funk and R&B as we follow Dorothy’s journey to find her place in a contemporary world.
When: October 7-12, 2025
Clue
Bringing the beloved Hasbro game to life, murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget! Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife or Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? As characters inch closer to the truth in this ultimate whodunnit comedy, you’ll be left dying of laughter and guessing until the final twist.
When: December 2-7, 2025
& Juliet
From the Emmy Award–winning writer of “Schitt’s Creek” comes this hilarious new musical reimagining the classic tale without the horrific ending. What would happen if Juliet decided not to cut her life short over Romeo? Get whisked away on a fabulous journey as she gets a second chance at life and love — her way. Scheduled for its South Florida premiere at the end of this year, show-goers should expect lively dance numbers to pop anthems like “Since U Been Gone”, “Baby One More Time” and “Larger Than Life”.

Moulin Rouge!
The multi-award-winning hit stage show makes its Miami premiere with all the glitz, glamour, romance, drama and everything in between! Step into 1899 Paris where bohemians and aristocrats rub elbows and revel in electrifying enchantment as Baz Luhrmann‘s revolutionary film hits the stage. Moulin Rouge! is the story of a lovesick American writer, Christian, and Satine, the dazzling star of the Moulin Rouge cabaret. It’s more than a musical — it’s a state of mind.
When: March 17-22, 2026
The Notebook
Based on Nicholas Sparks’ best-selling novel and the iconic film everyone knows and loves, The Notebook follows the heartfelt story of Allie and Noah, both from different worlds, who share a lifetime of love despite the forces that threaten to pull them apart. Just don’t forget to bring tissues!
When: May 5-10, 2026
The Book of Mormon
This irreverent and raucously funny musical follows a mismatched pair of missionaries, Elders Kevin Price and Arnold Cunningham, sent halfway across the world to spread the Good Word. Through meeting the locals and mingling with the existing Mormon brotherhood in Uganda, the Elders test their own relationship, eventually understanding what their purpose is. With standing room only productions in London, on Broadway, and across North America, The Book of Mormon continues to draw huge audiences around the world.
