Ultra Music Festival made its return to its longtime home in Bayfront Park last March, with the sold-out event welcoming 165,000 attendees. It finally looks like the festival is on track for its 2023 edition, ready to bring us the most epic EDM sets. They have just released part of this year’s star-studded lineup and it’s filled with some of the biggest names in the scene!
Swedish House Mafia, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Zedd, Armin van Buuren, Timmy Trumpet, Vintage Culture, Claude VonStroke, Gigantic NGHTMRE, Gryffin, Kayzo, and REZZ have been announced as headliners for the festival’s first group of performers.
With Swedish House Mafia leading the lineup, this will be their big return after their historic unannounced Main Stage comeback in 2018. The trio, consisting of DJs Axwell, Steve Angello and Sebastian Ingrosso, have spent the last few months showcasing their Paradise Again at arenas across North America, and will continue performing throughout Europe this fall.
If those major artists aren’t enough, the rest of the lineup includes Carl Cox, CloZee, Eric Prydz, Grimes, Zedd, a double appearance by deadmau5 — who will be performing as part of his Kaskade collab Kx5 and alongside Oliver Heldens’s techno moniker HI-LO during a b2b as his own techno alias Testpilot — and other stars.
Eric Prydz is set to present his rare HOLO audiovisual experience to Ultrea’s breathtaking RESISTANCE Megastructure for the first-time ever, where techno pioneer Carl Cox will return after a captivating three-hour headlining set in 2022.
Additionally, making their Ultra debuts this year are eclectic electronic-pop artist Grimes, French trailblazer CloZee and bass acts Ganja White Night and Subtronics.
This is only the beginning, so make sure to stay tuned for future phases of the lineup. Ultra Music Festival will host its 23rd annual edition at Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Boulevard, from Friday, March 24 to Sunday, March 26. Click here to visit their website.
