Organizers will be postponing its flagship event for up to a year due to coronavirus outbreak.
So Miami Ultra Music Festival 2020 looks like it’s getting canceled! The announcement came on Wednesday night (Mar 4) after a meeting between festival organizers and Miami officials, the Miami Herald reported. The festival was set to take place Mar 20-22 but has now been reportedly canceled due to fears of the coronavirus (COVID-19) spreading.
The news came shortly after Ultra Music Festival announced this past Tuesday that it was also canceling its Abu Dhabi event that was set to take place Mar 5-6, health concerns also being the reason for the cancelation.
It’d be the first time Ultra Music Festival wouldn’t take place in Miami since its inception back in 1999. City officials and Ultra haven’t ironed out the details of what will happen yet, but they’ll be making an official announcement on Mar 6.
