Artwork from iconic post-impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh comes to life in a 360-degree digital spectacle that illuminates and transforms the physical space into a fully immersive exhibit. 3. Eat your way through the city with Miami Spice
Running until September 30, Miami Spice is offering discounted, three-course menus at various restaurants throughout the city including $30 and $35 lunch and brunch, in addition to $45 and $60 dinner specials. 4. And try an entirely new dining experience — in the dark!
Discover the full potential of your taste buds while Dining in the Dark at Fi’lia this month. You’ll be served a three-course meal at the Brickell restaurant with a twist — blindfolded the entire time. While we don’t want to ruin the mystery of the evening, we won’t leave you in the dark by letting you know that you’ll have the option to choose between a meat, seafood or vegan menu. 5. Party with The Wharf for its final weekend
You have until September 16th to enjoy The Wharf while it’s still here. The downtown Miami venue has announced that its last day is quickly approaching as it makes way for the Riverside Wharf development, where it will reopen as a permanent establishment. Miami’s captivating Concerts Under the Stars are an outstanding musical experience taking place this summer with concerts paying tribute to Amy Winehouse, Bossa Nova and more. This outdoor evening series takes place at Elevar Rooftop, where you can take in the breathtaking views.
7. Bring in the fall with plenty of brews at Wynwood’s annual Octoberfest
Cheers to the new season — German style — at Wynwood’s Octoberfest! The popular, three-day fest is coming back to Wynwood Marketplace for its 13th edition starting on September 29th through October 1st. Regatta Grove is hosting its first Coconut Grove Tequila Festival on the bay with over 100 tequilas on special, several bars, live music, tequila-inspired food offerings and an exciting mixology competition. 36. See breathtaking paintings from the 13th-17th centuries
Rare masterpieces dating as far back as the 13th through 17th centuries have arrived from a private collection in Italy to Belen Jesuit Preparatory School and it’s opening to the public this month. “Faith, Beauty and Devotion: Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque Paintings” will highlight 30 paintings by Italian and Flemish masters, from Tintoretto to Peter Paul Rubens, at the Saladrigas Art Gallery within the school. The exhibit opens to the public on September 16.
37. Say goodbye to summer at this End of Summer Block Party
Let loose and enjoy the warm weather at CityPlace Doral’s End of Summer Block Party on Saturday, Sept. 23! The shopping destination has been dotted with rainbow-hued beach balls and vibrant-colored surfboards for summer, and professional Sand Sculptures Team Sandtastic will add to the decor with a summer-themed sandcastle mural! Additional activities during the party will include a live DJ, interactive games, bubble fun and ice cream social with Sloan’s and 4D Gelato.
38. Sip on craft beers and play games at downtown’s first brewery and taproom
Biscayne Bay Brewing has opened its flagship location inside the historic Old Post Office Building, and it’s the first in the neighborhood!
