Whether you’re one of the few who were lucky enough to nab tickets to Taylor Swift’s upcoming Eras Tour stop in Miami or will have to suffer silently by watching her on your screen, it’s safe to say Tay-mania is alive and well here in the city. So much so, a Wynwood restaurant is hosting a special drag bingo for Swifties this Wednesday, September 25th!
It’s the one and only R House that will be putting on the event, and it will be hosted by the fabulous London Adour. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the “Taylor Swift Drag Bingo” will have everything from fun rounds of bingo to delicious dishes and even themed cocktails, all accompanied with the perfect soundtrack that will have you shaking it off.
Players can purchase a $10 single bingo card or three cards for $20 for multiple rounds of bingo. The proceeds will benefit the SAVE Foundation, a non-profit whose mission since 1993 is to protect, promote and defend equality for South Florida’s LGBTQ community.
They’ll be serving up a cocktail menu that pays tribute to Miss Americana, inspired by her different albums and song names. There’s “Lover,” a juicy twist on a classic spritz that features Grey Goose Essence Watermelon & Basil, Aperol, fresh watermelon, elderflower, Lamarca Prosecco and citrus perfume. Inspired by the Red album, they’ll have “Lady in Red,” a drink featuring Flor de Caña 4-year white rum with hibiscus, fresh guava and sparkling ginger beer. And lastly, there’s “Lavender Haze,” prepared with Ford’s Gin, marmalade honey, lavender soda, butterfly flower and fresh citrus.
It won’t be until October that Swift will make her long-awaited Eras Tour stop at the Hard Rock Stadium. She’ll perform for three back-to-back nights, from October 18 to 20. If you ask us, this is the perfect way to pre-game for all the excitement that’s yet to come!
