Ever dreamed of being a contestant on The Price is Right? Well come on dooooooown to Toyota of Hollywood because an open casting call is taking place this week! CBS Miami will make its way to the dealership on August 29th, in search of two semi-finalists to be flown to Los Angeles and appear on screen for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Hosted by Drew Carey, the legendary game show has aired for over 50 seasons with audience members getting the opportunity to win cash and prizes after they’re called on to “come on down.” So you’ve got plenty of retail prices to study up on if you’re hoping to win a new car, kitchen or vacation!
How can I get cast for The Price is Right?
Hopefuls will get one minute to audition in front of a camera. If we can offer some advice, they’re looking for enthusiastic individuals, so make sure to let your personality and excitement for the show shine. You can find more casting tips here, courtesy of the producers.
No purchase is necessary and all participants will need to check in at the registration table outside of the taping area before being eligible. To keep things timely, everyone is encouraged to download and fill the video release form found here.
Casting notes that contestants must be 18 years or older at the time of the application, citizens of the U.S. and also living in the U.S.
When and where is the open casting call?
The contestant search will be held inside the Toyota of Hollywood showroom on Friday, August 29, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
