It’s been quite the year for Miami’s hospitality scene, with James Beard Award finalists and new Michelin stars calling the city home. Miami has once again outdone itself in the bars category, with 50 Best recently unveiling its list of must-visit spots!
North America’s 50 Best Bars 2025 have been revealed, but for the first time ever we’re getting a look at the extended ranking, which showcases numbers 51 through 100! And as per usual, Miami has found its way onto this list with a total of four standouts to pick up a cocktail or two from.
Learn about each of them below:
Viceversa (No. 56)
Coming in at the #56 best bar is downtown Miami newcomer Viceversa. From the minds of renowned bartender Valentino Longo and the team behind the now-closed Jaguar Sun, this moody aperitivo bar residing in the Elser Hotel features a touch of Miami flair with a modern approach to your average Italian drink.
The World’s 50 Best writes:
“For a true taste of Italy via Miami, opt for one of the signature cocktails like the Italian-VICE – an ode to the lemon granitas of the Amalfi coast made with bergamot, lemon sorbet and vodka. The food menu also makes good use of homegrown produce, with an abundance of seafood available at the raw bar including Treasure Coast oysters, Middleneck Clams and Royal Red Shrimp carpaccio.”
Viceversa is no stranger to hospitality accolades, however, as it has been named a finalist for the 2025 James Beard Awards and added to this year’s Michelin Guide.

Champagne Bar at The Surf Club (No. 61)
Over in Surfside, this tropical paradise located within the historic Four Seasons Surf Club boasts the largest selection of champagnes in all of South Florida as well as imaginative cocktails. The Champagne Bar first opened in 1930 and was known for its glam roster of customers, from Frank Sinatra to Elizabeth Taylor, taking you a step back in time.

Bar Kaiju (No. 77)
Another Miami favorite that made its way onto the list is this red-hued hidden gem on the second floor of The Citadel. A tribute to monsters worldwide, Bar Kaiju serves drinks themed after famous creatures like Godzilla and Chupacabra.
“The bar is dedicated to the monsters of famous Asian cinema, which is manifest in its eerie electric red lights, collages of movie monster posters and the seriously playful cocktail menu that’s modelled after a deck of trading cards and features drinks inspired by famous beasts,” the ranking states.
📍 8300 NE 2nd Ave 2nd floor, Miami, FL 33138
Swizzle Rum Bar & Drinkery (No. 78)
The final Miami shoutout goes to South Beach’s Swizzle Rum Bar. This late-night speakeasy (literally, it closes at 3 a.m. every night) is housed inside the Stiles Hotel and features a versatile menu with classic and contemporary cocktails. It also offers up a selection of more than 150 rums and if you can’t decide on which one to sample, World’s 50 Best recommends you try the $45 Florida Rum Experience to get a flight of four local spirits hand selected by their bar team.
