Miami Music Week may have come and gone, but the partying is just getting started! This summer, a unique new passenger aircraft is set to take travel to new heights with the addition of electronic DJs and drinks onboard. Yes, you read that right.
Much like a party bus or party yacht — this is Miami, after all — passengers will be invited to hop on a commercial jet retrofitted with a huge sound system, DJ booth, bar and plenty of neon lights.

The MIA-to-NYC flight will see a soon-to-be-announced lineup of international DJs, who will provide the ultimate soundtrack for the night, while you sip on cocktails and move to infectious beats for the duration of your flight. Think about it, a party so unique, it’ll go down at 30,000 feet above ground!

According to an official press release, these first-of-their-kind party jets carry up to 50 passengers, allowing for a mix of seats with plenty of legroom and space to dance. A handful of major airlines have already made deals to carry these planes, which will be launching out of Miami International Airport, New York’s JFK, Los Angeles and Chicago this May. Stay tuned because more routes are expected by 2026.
Sky-high partying vibes aside, the jets will have an impressive reduced flight time, getting passengers to the Big Apple in just one hour and 30 minutes, compared to the average average two-to-three-hour duration between the cities!
The parties will take off at 9 p.m., and tickets are set to go on sale — oh, do we still have your attention on this story? Well, we hate to break it to you but…
APRIL FOOLS!
Unfortunately, a party jet like this one sounds a bit too good to be true. We can’t say it’s happening, at least not anytime in the near future. We’re sorry if we got you, and if we did — let us know on Instagram!
