Every March, thousands of EDM fans from across the globe descend on Miami as the city transforms itself into a “dance music paradise.” With tons of concerts and parties for music lovers to enjoy, this exciting celebration has become known as Miami Music Week. Now in its 11th year, MMW returns from March 19 – 24 with the weeklong marathon of parties leading up to the crowning jewel, Ultra Music Festival. However you decide to spend it, there’s no shortage of musical experiences to partake in. Here are just some exciting ways to celebrate Miami Music Week:
1. Resistance Miami 2024
Coinciding with Ultra is the music festival’s Resistance residency, an underground house and techno concept heading to Club M2 from March 20-24. This is the second time Resistance hosts a club residency in Miami, where attendees can look forward to sounds by Eric Prydz, Joris Voorn, Amelie Lens and Reinier Zonneveld, among others.
2. MAD Club Wynwood
This Wynwood spot is keeping the party going with multiple events organized by BLNK CNVS throughout Miami Music Week, beginning with a Prodigy Artists Showcase on March 20 featuring Luci, Niiko x Swae, Ootoro, WAVES and more. On March 21 is All You Need with performances by Amine Edge, CID, Clyde P and others. Walker & Royce (March 22) and Markus Schulz (March 23) will end the week with parties of their own. 3. Epic Pool Parties
From March 20 to March 24, the Sagamore South Beach is playing host to daily pool parties at its iconic art deco pool. Its pool party series, titled Epic Pool Parties, will include live performances by Hot Since 82, Danny Tenaglia, Joseph Capriati, Louie Vega, Arielle Free, Ferreck Dawn, Kerri Chandler, The Shapeshifters and many more.
4. Afterlife Miami
Over at the Miami Marine Stadium, Afterlife will return for two days (March 20-21) of visually stunning installations and the incredible talents of Tale Of Us, Adam Sellouk, Mathame, CamelPhat, Adriatique, Layla Benitez and more.
5. Austin Millz at Fontainebleau
Join Austin Millz as he creates an unforgettable fusion of hip-hop and dance music at the Fontainebleau’s Arkadia Day Club. Doors open at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 22nd where guests will be immersed in a poolside oasis while sipping on drinks and grooving to the tunes.
6. Bresh
Since first taking place in Argentina in 2016, the globe-trotting party has earned its reputation as “The Most Beautiful Party in the World.” Complete with vibrant colors and incredible stages, Bresh is taking over Club M2 every Friday for all-night dancing, good vibes and the best music around, from reggaeton to pop. 7. Human By Default Label Party
Set to take place on Thursday, March 21, DJ and producer duo Bedouin will present the first-ever Human By Default party at the Jolene Sound Room. The intimate evening will also feature performances by Hoomance, Nandu and Notre Dame.
8. Hyde Beach parties
The SLS is throwing a different party nearly everyday of Miami Music Week, from March 19 to March 24. No Sugar Added will kick off the festivities on Tuesday with performances by Alex Wann, Nala, NICO DE ANDREA and more. Meduza and James Hype will close out the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) with surprise guests.
9. E11EVEN Miami
In true E11EVEN fashion, Robin Shultz & Friends is set to open the epic week on March 19, followed by Deadmau5 and some very special guests on March 21. On March 22, E11EVEN will feel the peak of Music Week when Dim Mak presents an ultra-special guest. Then Illenium will take the stage March 23 and on March 24, the week will close out with exciting performances by a soon-to-be-announced artist.
10. Strawberry Moon pool parties
Strawberry Moon, BLNK CNVS and 747 Presents are joining forces to bring incredible performances to The Goodtime Hotel on Miami Beach. Scheduled from Thursday, March 21st to Sunday, March 24th, shows include STMPED, Cash Cash & Friends and MK & Friends with additional talent to be announced. Guests can expect to let loose at these high-energy pool parties and delicious dishes and drinks from Strawberry Moon
11. LIV Nightclub
For the highly anticipated week, LIV will have an electrifying lineup of top DJs including Black Coffee (March 20), Tiësto (March 21), David Guetta (March 22), John Summit (March 23) and more surprise guests to dance the night away amidst a vibrant atmosphere.
12. Rosa Sky
In honor of International Women’s Month, immerse yourself in five electrifying nights of music as Rosa Sky presents an exceptional lineup of all-female DJs during Miami Music Week. From March 21st to 24th, groove along to beats by Cassy, Kitty Amor, VNSSA, CAMZ, Heidi Lawden, Öona Dahl, Tara Brooks and many more.
13. Giselle Miami
A dinner party scene like no other, Giselle is inviting music lovers to dine under the stars while listening to live beats provided by a weekend lineup of all female talent including DJ and producer Sam Blacky, House music queen XIE and more. They will also provide special menu items exclusively available during this noteworthy weekend of music including Giselle Temaki, Alaskan King Crab Dumplings and Australian Lamb Chops.
14. Sexy Fish
Dive into the depths of Sexy Fish during MMW for unforgettable nights of music by international DJs and a culinary journey beyond compare. Indulge in an evening of dining and dancing featuring DJs Mark Knight on Friday, March 22nd, and HUGEL on Saturday, March 23rd.
15. Nikki Beach Miami Beach
If you’re looking for more of a beach day club escape, Nikki Beach is the perfect place to enjoy beats as time slips away and the afternoon sets in. Soak up the sunshine and fresh air under the palms by relaxing on a daybed, indulge in their globally inspire menu and sip creative cocktails. Artists on the lineup include Sparrow & Barbossa, Eran Hersh & Darmon, David Tort, Peppe Citarella, Moblack and more.
16. Kevin Roldan Live at Mayami Wynwood
Colombian reggaeton sensation Kevin Roldan is set to take the stage at Mayami Wynwood on March 24. He’ll bring his chart-topping hits such as “Hasta Abajo” and “Descodificame,” promising a night of rhythms and beats.
17. Ultra Music Festival
And lastly, the event everyone is looking forward to: Ultra Music Fest! This epic affair is making its way back to Bayfront Park to celebrate its 24th edition. Running from March 22 to 24, it’ll bring together some of the best names in the genre with awe-inspiring sets such as Calvin Harris, Peggy Gou, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Eric Prydz, Steve Aoki, Tiësto, Afrojack and more.
