Can you smell that? The scent of warm cinnamon is officially back in the air, but this time around, it’s coming from a whole new kitchen! Knaus Berry Farm, a longstanding South Florida tradition and beloved bakery, is returning for the season this Monday, December 22.
While the farm has transitioned to new ownership and moved a couple of miles north at a new Redland location, the soul of the 70-year institution remains untouched. The Knaus family will stay on as consultants, making sure that every roll and shake is made with the same secret recipes and homemade quality locals have loved since 1956.
What to expect this season

The new owners, led by general manager Joel White, are focused on stewardship rather than reinvention. They’ve even brought along the original 1980s shake stand and iconic menu boards to keep that nostalgic feeling alive. However, they’ve added some other upgrades to make your visit smoother:
- Credit card payments are now accepted
- More parking, guest bathrooms and shade for those long lines
- The farm will now be open on Sundays and closed on Mondays

If you’re already planning your trip, keep in mind that the farm is known for its hours-long wait lines, but an increase in ovens this year are ready to tackle the demand.
What’s on the menu
You can expect the same products and recipes that made the farm a local treasure for generations. Grab a single cinnamon roll for $1.45 (or $17.40 for a dozen), and a small milkshake for $6.60 ($8 for a large). They’ll also have their famous pies, cheesecakes and fresh local produce from Sam S. Accursio & Sons Farms ready for visitors.

Because of the big move, however, U-Pick strawberries won’t be available this season but are expected to return next year!
