This Popular South Florida Halloween Experience Is Coming Back Edgier & Scarier Than Ever!

House of Horror, South Florida’s biggest Halloween experience, is coming back to haunt Miamians and it looks like it will be scarier than ever!

After almost two years of hiatus, House of Horror’s Haunted Carnival is making a comeback just in time for the spooky season and it sounds like you’ll be dreaming of it for days… And no, they won’t be pleasant dreams.

For its brand new haunted experience, House of Horror is taking over an abandoned department store and packing everyone’s worst nightmares into 100,000 square feet of uber-frightening space. The freakish carnival experience will feature your favorite carnival treats and unlimited rides on House of Horror classics like the Screamer and the Vertigo Swing as well as four totally new haunted house experiences.  Trust us when we say you’ll barely have time to catch your breath between houses!

Gather up your courage and cough drops (you’ll be needing them after all that screaming) and venture into all four haunted houses — if you dare! Go shopping at Mall Mayhem, where deranged clerks and demonic mannequins will make you wish you had gone Black Friday shopping instead.

Check into 1455 Asylum where unlicensed medical staff and their unfortunate patients know your every fear and will prey on them as they oversee the delivery of nervous breakdowns and panic attacks.

Trudge through the urban jungle of Toxic Apocalypse but beware not to touch anything or you’ll end up in a rather toxic situation scarier than the one you had with your ex.

And, last but by no means least, make sure to check out Scare X Studios a very 2021, social-media-ready interactive experience of illusions where you’ll become the star of your very own horror movie.

House of Horror is taking over Miami International Mall starting September 30 all the way through October 31 and will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 6 to 11 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 5:30 p.m. until midnight with haunted houses opening at  7 p.m. and closing 15 minutes prior to the Carnival closing.

Just beware of Mr. Lockhart, he seems to think the abandoned space is entirely his and will try to defend from unwelcome intruders at all costs!
