Winter is coming… again.
Pull out your jackets and your woolen hats Miamians, looks like the dreaded cold weather is coming back to the 305! Earlier in December, we got a little taste of what winter up north may feel like with temperature suddenly dropping to the 40s, but if you thought we were through the worst part of the winter, think again!
Earlier today the NWS Miami announced an incoming cold front would have temperature dropping into the 40s starting Monday night, February 1, well into the week.
A cold front will move through South Florida this morning bringing some showers and possibility of a storm or two. Primary impacts will be lightning strikes and gusty winds with the storms. Lows tonight will get down into the 40s, except around 50 west coast metro areas. #flwx pic.twitter.com/CHA9pOGG3K

Temperatures in Miami-Dade and Broward counties are expected to drop into the high 40s on Monday night. Temperatures will hit their lowest throughout Tuesday — the coldest day of the week — when they expected to dip into the low 40s.
Meanwhile, high temperatures are expected to remain in the 60s with a chance of a storm or two. Thunderstorms and gusty winds are also in the forecast so make sure to stay safe Miamians!
