Cocowalk: Home of leisure, entertainment and business
Inspired by tropical gardens, Cocowalk is an urban village/open-air shopping mall that first opened in 1990. It’s a popular local and tourist destination that offers shopping opportunities, fantastic dining, entertainment and cultural activities.
Located in the heart of Coconut Grove, the former Miami counterculture hub back in the 1960s, the exciting mall can be easily reached by car and bike. Parking is available in the center’s multi-story garage and bike racks can be found inside the Cocowalk Grand Avenue Garage and on Grand Ave and Virginia St. Additionally, given the mall’s central location, you can also get to the dynamic shopping center by public transport. The 22, 37 and 40 buses and the Green and Orange subway lines pass near the urban village. Now, the bus stops are 15-20 minutes away from Cocowalk and even though that’s not ideal, you can reach your daily step goals easy!
