One thing about us is we can’t resist a batch (or two) of delicious cookies. And viral shop, Chip City Cookies, is the sweetest and latest addition to Aventura, officially opening its third Florida store this weekend!
Known for their huge gooey treats, the New York-based brand has built up a loyal fanbase over the years. With over 100 rotated flavors like the Everything Cookie, Blueberry Cheesecake, S’Mores, Lemon Berry and Cannoli, how could they not? They also have a set menu of classic cookies as well as plenty of dairy-free options. Did we mention they’re also known for their cookie dough-stuffed croissants?
How Chip City Cookies started
Born in Astoria, Queens in 2017, Chip City is the brainchild of childhood friends Peter Phillips and Teddy Gailas, who were looking to recreate the simple taste of their childhood. The two came up with a fun challenge to see who would create the better cookie, eventually turning Chip City into a small storefront and opening more than 45 locations across the country today, including in Florida, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Massachusetts.
With locations in MiMo, Delray Beach and now Aventura, the company also notes that a fourth Sunshine State location is coming soon: Fort Lauderdale!
When will Chip City open its Aventura location?
Chip City Cookies will open its Aventura outpost on Friday, April 11, and in honor of the grand opening, you’ll have the opportunity to check out the new space and get your hands on a free cookie! Chip City will be giving out deliciously chewy cookies (with a purchase) to the first 100 customers. Just be sure to get in line early as doors open at 4 p.m.!
The store will be open from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday to Sunday.
