We didn’t know we needed these images of the baby meerkats, but now don’t know what we’d do without them.
Miami zoo took to Instagram to reveal the cute pair, announcing they had now opened their eyes for the first time. They were born on January 18 and were “helpless and blind”, with the zoo working hard to facilitate the start of life for the first pair they’ve had on their grounds.
This involved creating barriers to the public so the infants could bond with their mother, Yam Yam, in their first few weeks. But now, they are here, and you can see them in all their glory. Just look at those eyes.

You can also view the adorable pair online through the “meerkat webcam”, available on the zoo’s website. Their cuteness can not and will not ever be understated. That is all.
