For many of us in Miami, summer doesn’t start until the mangoes hanging from every street corner are perfectly ripe. Nothing captures the essence of South Florida quite like taking a juicy bite of this tropical favorite under a swaying palm. Which is why now is the perfect time to celebrate the city’s favorite fruit!
Home to one of the largest living mango collections in the world — boasting more than 400 varieties — Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden has been putting on the annual Mango Festival for over three decades, and its 32nd edition will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 13 -14.

🥭 What to expect
In true Mango Festival fashion, get ready for a packed weekend of fruit fun, including:
- Shopping and tastings: Purchase thousands of fresh mangoes, check out vibrant fruit displays and take home your very own cultivars at the mango tree sale.
- Expert advice: Listen in on educational seminars led by scientists and Mango Masters offering insider tips on young tree pruning, pest management and mango biodiversity.
- Entertainment: Kick back with a full day of live music, explore a local marketplace filled with mango-inspired treats and enjoy kids’ art activities for the family.

The highlight of it all is its signature Mango Brunch, where you swap your usual mimosas for a mango-driven menu! This seated culinary experience takes place on Sunday for an extra cost and is the perfect opportunity to mingle with some of South Florida’s celebrated chefs like Cesar Zapata (Phuc Yea), Aaron Brooks (Sunny’s Steakhouse), Zak Stern (Zak the Baker), Cindy Hutson (The Cliff Hotel), Timon Balloo (The Katherine Restaurant) and more.
And if you haven’t guessed it already, all their dishes will incorporate mango in some way!
🥭 What’s new this year
June’s festival will be the most ambitious yet, with Fairchild introducing new additions like the Mango Fresco and Mango Caliente (21+) premium lounges, featuring chef-led fresh mango tastings and handcrafted smoothies. There’s also the Mango Spectrum, a 45-minute guided tasting pairing fresh, green, freeze-dried and mango-infused chocolates with premium tequila and rum.
Additionally, attendees can treat themselves to mini mango facials, hand treatments and massages with mango yogurt puree and fragrance oils at the Mango Spa.
For the first time, guests can also get their hands on peak-season mangoes from The Fairchild Farm shipped directly to their doors, thanks to the Mango Fruit Club. They can buy a single box or commit to a 10-week full-season subscription.
