Immerse Yourself In The Magical Wilderness Of Zoo Miami’s Holiday Light Show!

Zoo Lights has officially returned for yet another glowing holiday season!

Giant glowing elephants, more than a million dazzling tree lights and a magnificent 26-foot LED holiday tree… These are but a few wondrous things you’ll find at  Zoo Miami’s dazzling Winter Wonderland.  This year the zoo’s annual Zoo Lights show has returned with dozens of gobsmackingly beautiful lanterns that are sure to brighten up anyone’s day (and let’s face, we’re all in need of a bit of twinkling, blinding lights to cheer us up at the moment).

The celebrations at Zoo Miami kicked off on Friday, November 27, with ZooLight’s virtual tree lighting ceremony (which you can still watch online) and will feature tons of holiday fun through December 27!

Some of the adventures that await at Zoo Lights’ magical wonderland include Snowman’s River Boat Rides, arts & crafts and Letters to Santa workshops, special animal appearances, holiday shopping at the Zoo’s gift shop, hot chocolate with cookies, and of course the thousands of twinkling lights and animal lanterns.

But the fun doesn’t end there! Zoo Miami is also holding special themed nights and is encouraging visitors to participate by donning their best outfits. Some of the themes include Ugly Sweater Nights on December 4 and 5, Galactic Nights on December 11 and 12 and Superhero Nights on December 23, 26 and 26. For the full schedule of themed nights make sure to check the Zoo Lights website.

Like many other attractions, Zoo Miami has installed new safety measures to ensure visitor safety which you will have to comply with at all times. These include maintaining the safety 6-foot distance and the obligatory use of masks among other measures.

Zoo Lights will be opening on select nights from 6:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. General Admissions tickets are $19.95 per adult and $17.95 per child; you can also choose to book your tickets with an additional hot chocolate and two cookies for $22.95 per adult and $20.95 per child. Tickets are sold online only so make sure to book them on Zoo Miami’s website before they sell out!
