Whether you prefer a classic cheeseburger or adventurous creations with different toppings, Miami’s burger scene has something for everyone. And patty lovers will be thrilled to find out that two of our beloved restaurants have ranked among the very best in the entire world!
From the beef experts behind the World’s 101 Best Steak Restaurants, Upper Cut Media House, this new list brings together the best of the best when it comes to burger destinations. We’re talking everything from smash burgers in Copenhagen to high-end steakhouses in Sydney.
Unlike other lists that focus just on taste, this one has a much stricter evaluation, with judges looking closely at the quality of the patty, bun and fries. With more than 1,500 burgers tasted and evaluated worldwide each year, they also pay attention to consistency, service, cleanliness, atmosphere and overall hospitality.
“We look beyond reputation alone,” their website reads. “What matters is the complete picture: the quality and provenance of the meat, the skill behind the grind, the seasoning, the sear, the structure, the sauces, the sides, the service and the consistency that turns a simple idea into something exceptional. The greatest burger places do not rely on one photogenic dish.”
The Miami spots that made the cut

With the Magic City being home to some of the most dynamic chefs and purveyors in the world, you better believe our local spots showed out. The two standout Miami spots that made it into the 2026 list, landing right next to each other in the top 50, are:
- No. 43: Sunny’s in Little River, whose fame comes primarily from its dry-aged signature Sunny’s Burger.
- No. 44: La Birra Bar, which has a few internationally recognized creations, including SOBEWFF Burger Bash winner Crispy Dubai.
