Benson Boone is flipping into Miami this weekend for his American Heart Tour and if you’re wondering what gets him pumped in between shows, he’s partnered with Google Maps to share a handful of his favorite spots around the city!
Just as you’d expect, his curated list features all kinds of exhilarating and adventurous experiences, including one of Miami’s tallest and newest indoor climbing gyms — Velocity Climbing. And if you’re looking to challenge yourself to new heights (quite literally), here’s what you need to know.
About Velocity Climbing
With over 23,000 square feet of surfaces to scale, this indoor facility offers a wide range of options that will satisfy your inner thrill-seeker. They welcome visitors of all skills — whether you’re a competitive climber or looking to try something different with friends — and offer bouldering, auto belay, top-rope and lead climbing across its 60-foot walls.
Since no reservations are required, you can just pop in and gear up for your climbing adventure. There are also friendly staff members to guide you through all the steps and instruct you on the equipment.
You can find Velocity Climbing at 2280 NW 41st Street, about a block from the Earlington Heights Metrorail Station.
What are Benson Boone’s favorite spots around Miami?
In addition to Velocity Climbing, his go-to list includes Wynwood’s FunDimension, Battle Racing go-karts and Lot 11 Skatepark. Though you’re going to need to fuel up in between all those activities, which is why he also included one of his favorite spots to eat at: Cowy Burger.

And you can catch the “Mystical Magical” singer at the Kaseya Center this Sunday, September 14!
