Fashion lovers and shopping addicts alike have something to be excited about this week in Miami — Uniqlo is opening its newest store at Aventura Mall!
The international retailer has gained popularity in recent years for its functional designs emphasizing wardrobe basics and unisex styles. Its Aventura location will house the brand’s 13th U.S. sustainability studio, offering clothing repairs starting at $5, reuse donations and material recycling.
The opening will take place Thursday, November 5, at 10 a.m. and feature four days of Taiko drum performances, daily giveaways and limited-time offers for shoppers. Here’s what to know.
Grand opening celebration: November 5-8
To celebrate its arrival, Uniqlo is hosting a four-day grand opening where shoppers have access to Miami-exclusive merch designed in collaboration with local artists and brands including Dani Klarić, Bobbie Goods and Jarritos.
Each day, the first customers in line will enjoy fun giveaways such as free knot bags filled with goodies (for the first 500 in line), stainless steel water bottles (the first 500 spending $99+) and gift cards to DIGGIN and Sakura Ice Cream.
There will also be limited-time discounts on signature items like AIRism, HEATTECH and cashmere through November 11. And traditional Japanese Taiko drum performances will take place multiple times a day from Thursday through Saturday (at 9:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.)
Additionally, customers will get an early look at the Disney x Formula 1® UT collection before its nationwide launch on November 9.
Opening festivities will wrap up on Saturday, November 14, with free community art events at the Miami Beach Regional and Aventura Branch libraries, where guests of all ages can participate in community quilt painting and receive commemorative tote bags. They are free to attend with no registration required.

One week after the Aventura Mall location opens, a second Uniqlo is set to arrive on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach. It’ll take over 8,557 square feet at 530 Lincoln Road on Thursday, November 12.
