Check Out This Chic Tiki Pop-Up Bar In Wynwood

Hidden inside Wood Tavern’s old spot in Wynwood, the Tiki Garden offers glam yet laid-back tiki vibes.

If you’re a fan of tiki culture but you’re also looking to elevate your night out with some chic Miami vibes and top-notch cocktails, then Tiki Garden might just be the spot for you.

Created by the Miami Bar Group, Tiki Garden took over Wood Tavern’s old spot in Wynwood bringing some new laid-back, tiki vibes to the area. And although there is still plenty of bamboo, tiki glasses and paper umbrellas to go around, glam touches like its green plush velvet loveseats and gold-accented decor give the spot a chic and elevated touch.

Tiki Garden offers plenty of seating space both under the stars and surrounded by palm trees as well as close to the main bar under a gorgeous wooden canopy.

The cocktail menu was specially crafted by the BarLab team (you may know them from Broken Shaker) and features tiki classics with a twist such as the “Thai Me Up” made with cold-pressed cucumber, Thai basil reduction, elderflower liqueur, citrus shaken with gin and topped with Perrier; and the “Get Lucky Punch” served with spiced hibiscus reduction, Thai basil, lemongrass essence, lime, pineapple juice and rum.

Happy Hour specials are available Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. during which you can enjoy cocktail menu items for $8 or $9, as well as tiki shots and beers for $5.

The pop-up also offers live music every night hosted by a rotating roster of resident DJs as well as weekly events such as Latino Wednesday with DJ Wasabi and Sunday Day parties that will pair up pretty nicely with your cocktail.

The Tiki Garden is currently 5 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 3 a.m., Thursday through Friday, 2 p.m. to 3 a.m. on Saturdays and 2 p.m. until midnight on Sundays. For more information on the pop-ups latest events make sure to check out their Instagram!
