This modern library set in Homestead offers everything you expect from a traditional library (like a vast collection of books, for starters) in addition to a virtual reality cube, advanced tech, a children’s theater, arts and crafts and more. It’s also entirely free to Miami-Dade residents, but you’ll need a Cybrarium card which is different from a public library card.
Stroll a miniature town at Welleby Park
For a fun day out with the kids, head to Welleby Park in Sunrise, where you’ll stumble upon a child-sized city complete with traffic lights, mini-cars and buildings modeled after city facilities like a post office and bank. The little ones can use their imaginations in this realistic-looking Safety Town, where they’ll be able to ride their bikes, scooters and anything with wheels.
Take a terrific goat yoga class at Pinto’s Farm

Start your next Sunday with a furry, friendly and jump-y challenge… goats! Pinto’s Farm in the Redland offers beginner level yoga classes taught outdoors with the company of goats for a delightful time. Children must be accompanied by an adult. See fluttering butterflies all around you at Butterfly World
