Each year, Yelp releases its ranking of the best U.S. restaurants, showcasing everything from fast-casual eateries to fine-dining establishments, and this year’s edition is here!
To our shock, no Miami eateries made the lengthy list, but if you’re looking to make a bit of a drive, two South Florida spots made the cut! In fact, both are in Broward County. Read on to learn about each of them:
Amy’s French Bakery & Bistro (#9)
Securing a spot in the Top 10, at number 9, is this cozy Pompano Beach spot that serves breakfast all day. Just make sure get there early to avoid lines, Yelpers suggest. Amy’s highlights include made-to-order omelets, fresh-baked pastries and a “charming, authentic French atmosphere.” Dishes that got them on the list were their “unbelievable” croissants, crepes stuffed with homemade apple-cinnamon mix and buttered toast topped with bananas and melted Nutella.
Yelp user Brandon S. stated:
“Amy’s is making incredible custom omelets to order, French pastries, and incredible coffee. [My] omelet was fluffy, well seasoned, and cooked to perfection — one of the best I’ve ever had. The staff and owners were extremely attentive.… [It’s] the perfect breakfast spot to start your day.”
Twice Removed (#52)
Coming in at number 52, this Fort Lauderdale neighborhood gem is loved for its gastropub eats and delicious cocktails. Its menu is described as “eclectic American with international influence” and reviewers say their different kinds of fries (but especially truffle fries), duck poutine and fried Oreos are major draws. And don’t forget about their incredible happy hour — offered every day from 4 to 6 p.m.!
To compile Yelp’s Top 100 Restaurants of 2025, the company’s data science team uses data generated from its community submissions. They consider both the rating and volume of the reviews, before narrowing the list down with the expertise of its community managers and Trend Expert.
You can find Amy’s French Bakery & Bistro at 1441 S Dixie Hwy W, Pompano Beach. Twice Removed is located at 3301 NE 33rd St, Fort Lauderdale. See which other restaurants were selected by checking out Yelp’s full list here.
