There’s a sweet new surprise rolling in to the scene. The successful founder of Night Owl Cookies, Andrew Gonzalez, has brought an entirely new dessert shop to keep satisfying Miami’s sweet tooth and we’re here to tell you all about it.
The brand new concept, Rolled, is a unique roll heaven. Expect artisanal rolls and coffee year-round beyond the regular cinnamon rolls everyone has come to know and love during the fall season.
Unlike Night Owl’s whimsical pink and sprinkles-filled decor, Rolled has more neutral tones with hints of navy purples and buttercream hues. And the best part? Rolled is located just doors down from Night Owl’s University Park location.
“I founded Night Owl Cookies when I was 20… almost 10 years ago! It’s been such an emotional journey watching it grow and evolve into something I could have only dreamed of,” Andrew Gonzalez said in a statement. “As I turned 30, I looked back and realized, I too have grown and evolved and I wanted to create a brand that embodied where I am now as a person. When I was thinking of what’s the complete opposite of a nighttime cookie concept… I instantly thought: artisanal rolls and coffee bar!”
With a new location comes a larger footprint in the city. Night Owl has evolved into Miami’s most popular cookie shop, first starting on Instagram as a late-night cookie service that delivered until 2 a.m. every night and now with five locations spanning Miami-Dade and Broward.
At Rolled, you’re bound to find the OG cinnamon roll, but there’s 10 unique flavors to choose from, two of which actually contain cinnamon. There’s Tres Leches, Funfetti Cake, and even a Night Owl Cookie-infused Cookie Dough Roll to pay homage to the confections. If that’s not enough, Rolled even has Cafecito-infused rolls made with Per’La Specialty Roasters and a Guava y Queso roll filled with a guava and cream cheese filling that will blow your mind.
You can find Rolled at 10524 SW 8th St. Miami, FL 33174, open every day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
