Get ready for a sea of white tables, white decor and Miamians dressed to the nines in their best white attire, as the legendary Dîner en Blanc has is making its grand return to the city on Saturday, April 12th!
The French-inspired picnic gathering first launched in Paris in 1988 and has become a worldwide phenomenon, bringing the celebration to over 120 cities in 40 countries in present day. Thousands in Miami have previously gathered in iconic locations such as Jungle Island and Coconut Grove’s Regatta Park and this year, it’s keeping an air of mystery around it as it makes it way to a secret location.

To stay true to tradition, attendees are asked to wear white-only attire from head-to-toe (originality encouraged as long as it’s stylish and tasteful) and bring with them a foldable table, two white chairs and a white tablecloth. You’ll be given an assigned departure location where a volunteer will escort you to your destination, in order to keep the location a secret until the very moment of arrival.

You can choose to pack your own picnic basket comprising of fine food and proper stemware and white dinnerware, or reserve a catered one in advance from their website.
In addition to sipping on champagne and dining on a delicious meal surrounded by other elegantly-dressed guests, the festive soirée will treat guests to live music and dancing throughout the evening. This year’s event will feature performances by Tito Puente Jr., Alemor, Luke K. and DJ Ed, in addition to immersive experiences like live cigar rolling and interactive art.

To participate in the experience, you can sign up by visiting Le Dîner en Blanc’s website. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged!
