And they’re off! January marks the return of one of the premier equestrian events in the world, the Pegasus World Cup, which is set to celebrate a massive milestone: its 10th anniversary. Set for Saturday, January 24, Gulfstream Park will once again be home to a unique experience blending thoroughbred racing with fashion, music and culture.
Launched in 2017 as part of 1/ST’s mission to modernize the sport of thoroughbred horse racing, the Pegasus World Cup has firmly established itself as South Florida’s leading luxury sports and lifestyle event of the decade. It continues to attract A-list star attendees, tastemakers and fans eager to catch a glimpse of the thrilling race.

And its 10-year edition is no exception, as the high-stakes cards feature the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Invitational (GI), the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Championship Turf Invitational (GI), and the $500,000 Pegasus World Cup Filly & Mare Turf Invitational (GII).
Winners will receive stunning trophies, once again provided by Baccarat as the Official Trophy Purveyor. The Pegase (French for ‘Pegasus’) Horses are crafted from crystal and stand at over 20 inches tall.

Fan experiences and entertainment lineup
New this year, David Grutman’s Groot Hospitality and Palm Tree Crew are collaborating to unveil the Pegasus Fan Zone at Gulfstream Park’s Carousel Club. Hosted by Griffin Johnson, the space will feature culinary selections, wagering contests, partner activations and a VIP Garden.
As expected, the atmosphere will kick up a notch after the races with multiple performers. The Flamingo Room (offering panoramic views of the track) will treat guests to a reimagined set by Empire Of The Sun and live jazz from Brian Newman, while the Pegasus Fan Zone will feature a high-energy lineup headlined by DJ duo Two Friends, supported by Ruckus and Rae Sada.

And the party doesn’t stop at the track; the celebration continues at LIV Nightclub with Frank Walker and ARTY!
