Fort Lauderdale is officially the place to be this weekend as the Florida Panthers bring the Stanley Cup back to the beach. Following a dominant 2025 win over the Edmonton Oilers to secure back-to-back championships, the Panthers are celebrating in true South Florida style, there will be a massive, open-air parade along A1A this Sunday.
Expect vibrant beachside energy, road closures, and crowds lining the coast. The 2025 Panthers parade has quickly become one of the most exciting traditions in Fort Lauderdale.
What to expect: route, access, and street closures
After clinching their second consecutive Stanley Cup title with a dominant 5–1 win over the Edmonton Oilers, the Panthers will host their 2025 Championship Celebration this Sunday, June 22, at 12 p.m., right along the sand and surf of Fort Lauderdale Beach.
The team confirmed that the parade will begin at Riomar Street and head south down A1A, culminating just past SE 5th Street across from Hotel Maren, where a full stage rally at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park will kick off the city-wide celebration. This marks a repeat of last year’s beach parade—but bigger, louder, and with even more fans expected to show up.
Admission is free, and the event is family-friendly, though some areas will be blocked off for VIPs. City officials are preparing for a turnout similar to last year’s.
2025 Florida Panthers parade
If you’ve never been to a Stanley Cup parade before, this is the one to catch. The crowd last year hit 250,000 people despite rain, and this year, with better weather and back-to-back titles, it’s expected to be even more packed.
Officials strongly advise fans to plan ahead, expect street closures along A1A, and consider alternative transport like the Broward County Water Taxi.

And it’s not just about the players. Now that Brad Marchand, Sam Bennett, and Sergei Bobrovsky have done their part, it’s our turn to celebrate. Sun, sand, and Stanley Cup glory included.
