This year marks the 14th annual International Orchid & Garden Festival at the Bonnet House Museum & Gardens — a blooming experience for orchid enthusiasts and plant lovers alike!
Each year, the colorful showcase features diverse and fragrant varieties of orchids, tropical plants, herbs and fruit trees, butterfly garden plants and so much more. This year’s fest, which will feature more than 25 local and international vendors from Thailand, Ecuador, and Brazil, will begin April 1.
And for the first time in 30 years, the Bonnet House will welcome orchid vendor Ornamentales Ledezma from Costa Rica.
If you’re a flower lover, you’ll be in awe with all the stunning displays on the 35-acre property. You can expect garden art, live music, care lectures by local growers and food vendors as well.
To add to the good news, a new brunch that’s sure to be as dazzling as the festival will take place on the lovely waterfront veranda during the festival. Catered by Alexander Event Catering, brunch will include a delectable buffet with mimosas and bloody Marys along with access to the house for a leisurely stroll through the rooms and orchid display house.
The International Orchid & Garden Festival will return to the Bonnet House, located at 900 North Birch Road, Fort Lauderdale, on Saturday & Sunday, April 1 & 2, and run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information and tickets, visit their website.
